This week, we intentionally stepped in front of it.
Why? Because every once in a while, we think it’s important to experience exactly what we ask our clients to experience.
Standing in front of the lens reminds us what it feels like to wonder what to do with your hands, hope your smile looks natural, and trust someone else to tell your story. That perspective makes us better photographers, filmmakers, and creative partners.
It was also a great excuse to update our own portraits. Just like the organizations we work with, our team grows, evolves, and changes. Your imagery should evolve with you.

Shelli Foth | Operations Principal & Photographer
Shelli is the engine behind our operations. She keeps projects moving, supports our clients every step of the way, and makes sure everything we do reflects our values. If a project feels seamless, there’s a good chance Shelli had something to do with it.
Sydney Petersen | Director of Media & Aerial Videography
Sydney leads our videography and aerial media services. She’s an incredibly talented storyteller, a skilled FAA-certified drone pilot, and someone who constantly pushes us to create better work. Her creativity, technical expertise, and calm leadership make her an invaluable part of our team.
Mary Bandimere | Studio & Photography Lead
If you’ve visited our new studio recently, you’ve probably met Mary. She leads our photography operations and studio experience with equal parts creativity and warmth. She’s the kind of person who instantly makes people feel comfortable, and that shows in every portrait she creates.
Ely Hemnes | CEO & Founder
As founder, my role has evolved over the years. While I still love being behind the camera and talking with clients over a cup of coffee, my focus today is guiding our vision, supporting our team, and making sure we continue growing with intention. I believe the best creative work begins with strategy, curiosity, and genuine relationships.
While these are the faces you’ll see most often, they’re only part of the story. We’re supported by an incredible network of talented creatives across the country who help us serve our clients wherever their projects take us.
